Hi, I’m Pippa and welcome to PipsRainbow. Thank you for visiting me here at PipsRainbow. I hope you will find yourself on a rainbow ride full of colour and fun, where your imagination and creation can grow.
I think its safe to say, I am one serious lover of anything homemade, crocheted and colourful. You realise that you are hooked on crocheting, when you are spotted showing a fellow crocheter how to do a stitch in the middle of the school playground, on the school run!! Haha!! Reality check!! Yeah I am utterly hooked on crocheting. I think I even dream about it.
I have always loved making and creating for family and friends. I first learnt to knit with my dear Mum, but I have found the crocheting is a lot more versatile and transportable for when I am running around after my two gorgeous children. I have a girl and boy, who seem quite happy that their Mum crochets. My little girl has a serious amount of crocheted toys and blankets and my little boy just wants to chew and munch on anything I am currently working on.
I have been crocheting for a good few years now and writing my own patterns. My main inspirations come from my children, who have some incredible ideas and always have reasonings behind them all. I could talk for hours with them about the possibilities of a crochet project.Â
Within my blog, I hope to bring you lots of little crocheting patterns and easy tutorials for difficult parts or new stitches. I hope you find these useful and that they help you create your own wonderful products.
You can also now purchase the downloadable PDF patterns from my Ravelery Store and Etsy Shop. Here are the links for these.Â

Please feel free to contact me anytime you need any extra help or you have a query about something. I am only to happy to help.
You can also find last years CAL at the top of the page. It’s called the Year of the Stitches Blanket and each week I gave everyone a brand new stitch to learn and add to their blanket. So by the end of the year, we had a blanket full of 52 different stitches. That’s one serious yarn yumminess with one serious stitch reference guide. Worth a peak if you fancy learning some new crochet stitches.Â
Happy Hooking Everyone.
