It’s Crochet Along time! Woohoo! Love a good CAL! Haven’t done one in a while, but this one has definitely been brewing! How are we all? Hope everyone had good New Years! One week down already! Bonkers! Hope you’ve all had a good start to 2023. Our house seems to have been filled with illness so far, but sure it will all pass soon. Maybe it’s a case of get it out of the way!
Anyways, I am waffling, as usual.
Welcome to our Advent Wrapdigan CAL. It’s a collaboration between myself and the utterly magical Abby from Orchidean Luxury Yarns. This little Advent Wrapdigan is a bit of a treat for yourself. It’s based on Abby’s knitted Wrapdigan, which you can find the pattern to on her website, but this one has a slight twist in the sense it has a large centre mandala in the middle of the back. So will be pretty spectacular when worn.
On Christmas Day, I published the DK pattern, but the CAL will be using a 4ply weight yarn. Both patterns will be left up ony blog, but I will be creating downloadable PDF patterns for both weights at the end of the CAL.
Now, as with all my patterns, they are all here for you to enjoy. And in exchange for these patterns, I would be very grateful if you could give, however little, a donation to our chosen charity Child Bereavement UK. This is an incredible Charity, that was been close to our hearts for a few years now. I cannot imagine how important the work they do is to the families that need them. Especially at this time of year. So if you can, however small, donate to the charity, in exchange for my pattern, then I would be so grateful. Thank you. Here’s the link to the Just Giving Page.

Please can you tell me the hook size for double knit? I can’t find the Christmas Day post but figured the pattern would be the same.
I have already messaged last week so sorry to hassle you but I really want to get started, I’ve made my donation & I love your wraptigan. I have already knitted one. Xx
Oh my goodness. I am sorry! I didn’t get that message! So the Double Knit Advent is also in 4mm crochet hook. I designed the DK first, then now adapting it for the 4ply. Hope that’s ok. Thank you so much for donating.
I will be putting on both patterns to download, once the CAL is over. X
